Focus and Scope

Modern Advances in Business, Economics, and Finance (MANTA) focuses on various disciplines and areas within technology. MANTA welcomes submissions that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and understanding in multiple domains, including but not limited to:

Peer Review Process

Every article submitted to the editorial team of the Modern Advances in Business, Economics, and Finance (MANTA) undergoes an initial review process by the Editorial Board before being further reviewed by two peer reviewers through the Double-blind peer review process. Each reviewer is given a maximum of two weeks to complete their review. The decision to publish, revise, or reject the article is based on the reports and recommendations from these reviewers. This process ensures that every article published in MANTA has undergone rigorous evaluation to ensure quality and significant contribution to technological innovation.


Publication Frequency

The Modern Advances in Business, Economics, and Finance (MANTA) is published biannually, with two issues released in January and July each year.

 


Open Access Policy

All articles published in the Modern Advances in Business, Economics, and Finance (MANTA) will be immediately available to the public free of charge upon publication. No access restrictions or fees will be imposed for reading, downloading, or utilizing these articles. Our commitment to open access ensures that valuable research findings in advanced technological innovations are readily accessible to researchers, educators, practitioners, policymakers, and the general public worldwide, fostering greater knowledge dissemination and interdisciplinary collaboration. By removing barriers to access, we aim to promote inclusivity, encourage innovation, and contribute to advancing scientific knowledge for the betterment of society.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries, which permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration. More information

 


Publication Ethics

The statement of publication ethics of the Modern Advances in Business, Economics, and Finance (MANTA) reflects our commitment to three core values: Neutrality, Fairness, and Honesty. We adhere to the Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors from COPE to ensure integrity and transparency throughout publication. Authors are expected to comply with these ethical standards by providing an Ethics Statement and agreeing to the Copyright Agreement before publication.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Journal Editor

  • Continuous improvement of publication quality through rigorous evaluation and feedback mechanisms.
  • Implement and maintain a robust quality assurance process to uphold the standards of published articles.
  • We are ensuring the preservation of authors' academic integrity and scholarly reputation.
  • Oversight of writing style and format guidelines while ensuring authors' accountability for the content and statements within their manuscripts.
  • Encouragement of journal evaluation and feedback mechanisms to inform ongoing enhancements.
  • Advocacy for initiatives to reduce research errors and ethical lapses, including the need for authors to submit approved ethical clearance forms.
  • Support for educational initiatives promoting awareness and adherence to ethical publication practices among researchers.
  • Maintenance of an open-minded approach to diverse perspectives, even those conflicting with personal opinions.
  • Commitment to impartiality and objectivity in decision-making, refraining from bias or favoritism toward personal, authorial, or third-party viewpoints.

Duties of Reviewer

  • Provide honest, critical, and objective reviews of assigned manuscripts, considering the research's quality, authenticity, methodology, and relevance.
  • Offering constructive and beneficial feedback to authors to assist them in improving and enhancing their manuscripts.
  • Ensuring that solid and detailed arguments support all comments and evaluations provided.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of assigned manuscript-related information and not using such information for personal gain.
  • Providing timely review decisions by journal policies and clear reasoning for each decision.
  • Reporting any misconduct, plagiarism, or other ethical violations detected in the assigned manuscripts to the editor.
  • Performing review duties responsibly and avoiding unnecessary delays in delivering reviews.

Duties of Author

  • Ensuring that the submitted manuscript represents original work and has not been previously published elsewhere.
  • Providing accurate and complete information, including appropriate citations and acknowledgments, to support the research presented in the manuscript.
  • Adhering to ethical guidelines and standards in research conduct, including obtaining permission for copyrighted materials and disclosing potential conflicts of interest.
  • Clearly stating the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the research in the manuscript, following the journal's formatting and style guidelines.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to requests for additional information or revisions from the editorial team or peer reviewers.
  • It acknowledges and cites all individuals who have contributed significantly to the research or manuscript.
  • Reviewing and approving the final version of the manuscript before publication, ensuring its accuracy and integrity.
  • If any errors or inaccuracies are identified in the published manuscript, promptly inform the editorial team and cooperate in issuing corrections or retractions as necessary.

 


Screening for Plagiarism

All manuscripts submitted to MANTA will undergo plagiarism detection using plagiarism detection software. The maximum allowable similarity threshold is 25%. If the similarity level with external sources exceeds 25%, the editor will review the manuscript further to determine if further action is necessary. If significant plagiarism is detected, the manuscript may be rejected, or the authors may be asked to revise and provide appropriate explanations or references. MANTA upholds high standards of academic integrity and will take appropriate action against plagiarism violations.
